The forgotten World - Chapter 5

 

Inside this box is the breathing mask and the poison drink.

The blue crystal is deactivated. Its energy outshone the entire world and was directly connected to the tree of life. Without its energy, the world loses its power, no new life arises, and the world becomes black and lifeless. Jay sat on the floor in the circle, closed his eyes and touched the crystal with both hands. He felt the energy of the crystal flow through him, and a pleasant shiver ran through him. He could hardly detach himself from the crystal, then he opened his eyes and saw how the crystal began to glow. Despite the chains, Jay had activated the crystal again. Relieved, the artist sighed and stood up. Energised, he set off to solve the task the professor had left him. With his equipment on his back, he explored this mystical world, discovering many species of plants and animals he had never seen before. Until he came to a well and he saw a dragon flying around there....
