Queen of Hearts: 4.2. Cards of Destiny
The guardians exchanged glances before the second guardian, a woman with eyes full of wisdom, responded: ‘This is the game of fate. We are the guardians of this world, and our decisions influence the balance between good and evil. The kings represent values that have been partly forgotten: wisdom, compassion, courage, and justice.’
(Now talk to the King of Courage by touching him. He is sitting on the chair with the card of diamonds on it)
King of Courage: The artist turned to look for the Joker, but after placing the final card, he was gone. The third player, a silent man in a dark cloak, spoke in a deep voice: ‘You have brought the kings, choose one of them! Your life depends on it, as does the life of all.’
The artist stared at the cards. He knew he couldn't simply choose a king. The game was more complex, more dangerous. He thought about his past, the mistakes he had made, and the dreams he had yet to fulfill.
