Chapter 4: The Gathering of the Cards:
With the four king cards in hand, the artist walked through another door. What ruthless game of life and death awaited him now?
He stepped through the door into a beautiful garden, where an unusual sight awaited him: four individuals with serious expressions were seated at a gaming table, with playing cards laid out in the open. There was something mysterious about these four people—their eyes sparkled like the cards themselves.
Cautiously, the artist approached the table and sat down. As he placed his kings on the gaming table, without knowing their names, he sensed their significance and power. The Joker joined them, adding his own card. The Joker card now lay between the kings, as if it had always been part of the game.
