Neverending - book 10 - The Christmas Story - Chapter 16

While enjoying his hot cup of rum Tim heared again a whisper in the wind, his skin froze even though he wore a warm coat. As he looked down on his hand, he still held his paper and pen in his hand and realized what he drew… Something dark, scary, with a latern in their hand… ‘Again!’ He shuddered and looked up directly in the dark hidden face of the second ghost. That was the creepy noise he heard. Tim held out his cup, his hand shuddered. ‘Want some drink?’ he asked, but the ghost didn´t move, just in a whisper he told a new poem, again and again…..

‘I serve for driving, but I don't have wheels,

And yet everyone likes to drive me.

In winter, when on the meadows, the field

The snow falls down in flakes,

Then I'm quickly pulled out of the corner

And harness not only horses, but also boys to me.

What can that be?`

Hint: Go back and find what we are looking for. In your childhood you liked to use it in the winter, didn´t you?
